Returns & Exchange Policy

At Memsaab, we want you to love what you receive. On the rare occasion an item isn’t right, here’s how returns and exchanges work. This policy covers change-of-mind returns. It does not limit your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act for faulty or misdescribed items — see the note at the end.

1. Return window

For change-of-mind returns, please notify us and return the item within 5 days of delivery. Requests made after this window can’t be accepted for change-of-mind returns.

2. Condition for return

To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and in original sellable condition
  • With all original tags and packaging intact
  • Free from any signs of use, wear, or alteration
  • Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase

3. Return shipping

For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. If an item is faulty or we’ve made a fulfilment error, we cover the return shipping.

Sale items are final sale. Items bought on sale or marked final sale can’t be returned or exchanged for change of mind. Your rights for faulty items are unaffected.

4. Inspection & processing

Once we receive your return within the 5-day window, we’ll inspect it against the conditions above and process it as quickly as we can.

5. Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

6. Exchanges

Because each piece is stocked as a single item per size, exchanges depend on availability. Where a size or style isn’t available, we’ll process a refund under this policy instead.

Your consumer rights: Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act. If an item is faulty, not as described, or doesn’t do what it should, you’re entitled to a remedy regardless of the timeframes above. Contact us and we’ll make it right.
